I was thrilled when we moved there because I had two children with special learning issues at the time and I was sure this was the solution we needed.

After three years in that school with daily therapies and special classes, my children were falling further and further behind their peers. I finally realized that all of the special classes and interventions were keeping my children out of the classroom. They were missing valuable classroom instruction each week! There had to be a better way.

I began homeschooling and within a year the kids moved from 2 years behind their peers to years ahead! Targeted instruction aimed at addressing their unique needs was a game changer. I learned how to tap into a student's interests to create lessons they would love and soon my reluctant readers were begging for more. Their reading improved, their math skills improved. With each passing month they gained more practice, more confidence, and more success. They loved school for the first time, and we were having a blast!

When our youngest began school, I thought she would be our first child without learning issues. I was wrong. Although she is clever, curious, and creative, she struggled with reading. At the end of second grade she still couldn't read a kindergarten level book and she struggled to keep things in order in her mind. Song lyrics became jumbled, she couldn't remember the days of the week or months in proper order, and once math moved past simple problems it became a complete nightmare. I knew something was wrong and spent hundreds of dollars on every reading program on the market to no avail. Finally, I decided to have her tested for dyslexia. The only problem was, I couldn't find anyone to test her! The local schools wouldn't return my messages and the only business nearby that offered evaluations charged over $2000 for a diagnosis. I knew that I would still have to pay for therapy or some special program after that, which they were happy to offer for several hundred a month. There had to be a better way. A few years later I met a few families who lived overseas and their stories made it clear that I wasn't the only one struggling with this issue. How do you get professional help for your struggling students when you don't have access to the professionals in a public school? What if the professionals are letting you down? How can you get the help you need for your kids without spending thousands each year? I became determined to find a solution for families like ours.

My children are all grown now and each one graduated early at 16 yrs. old before beginning college at the university of their choice. There is hope, friends. You don't have to do this alone. Whether your child is private, public, or homeschooled, I can help.
” image=”” vertical_position=”top” horizontal_position=”left” hide_on_desktop=”false” hide_on_mobile=”false” animation_on_scroll=”{"animation_enable":"no","yes":{"animation_type":"fadeIn","animation_delay":"0"}}” _array_keys=”{"custom_styling_picker":"custom_styling_picker","animation_on_scroll":"animation_on_scroll"}” _made_with_builder=”true”][/special_text_block]
